Gammon Technical Products hosted its third Aviation Fuel Symposium at the Sheraton DFW Airport Hotel, March 19-21. This was the first time the event was held in Dallas, engaging over 300 aviation specialists from 30 countries.
Jim Gammon, president of Gammon Technical Products, has hosted conferences and training seminars for industry professionals across the globe.
“In a symposium, you can learn a lot more than you can read in a manual,” Gammon said. “You can learn how the equipment works, why it’s made and how to handle situations when things go wrong. Our goal is for attendees to gain a deeper understanding of the supply chain and understand how technology advancements contribute to overall fuel quality.”
Attendees could participate in multi-disciplinary technical training and educational programs. The event included panel expert discussions on refueling accessories, quality controls and sensors, the future of plane filters separators, and general refueling vehicle maintenance.
“The main thing is to give attendees a chance to connect names and faces with standards and equipment,” Gammon said.
